Casseldon Redevelopment Phase 1, Alpha Project Management

For over 20 years, ISPT’s properties have been meaningful places for the retailers, companies, government departments and communities that use them.  They generate returns for their Investors, which are some of Australia’s largest industry superannuation funds, and ultimately the 50%+ of Australian workers who have their retirement savings invested through ISPT. ISPT’s $16 billion portfolio invests and develops commercial, retail, industrial and residential property in Australia.

Following on from the first stage of the 2011-2013 5-star green star refurbishment of Casselden, 2 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, ISPT once again engaged AlphaPCM as the Project Manager and Superintendent for the second stage of the redevelopment for one of its key assets in its portfolio of investments and developments in commercial, retail, industrial and residential property in Australia.

The project included multiple work streams over a two (2) year period, including 32,700sqm of base building floor upgrades in accordance with its 5-star green star design certification, improved security measures for the occupants of the building with the introduction of speedstiles, installation of a new lift and internal stairwell for reduced traffic through the main tower lifts and a second end of trip facility effectively doubling the building’s EOT capacity.

The building remained in occupation throughout the project and staged handover was provided to new tenants and existing relocating tenants.
